I just released a major rollout to the WorldMaps codebase -- one of many to come, but figured it best to do this in stages.
The first thing you may notice is some fluctuations in the stats. This is normal -- the IP resolution database has changed a bit, however, the underlying tracking table has not. So if you see your numbers jump around a little, know that the underlying data is still there.
The way system works is like so: hits are logged to the database as they come in, and when the report is generated (generally, once a day), the IP addresses are mashed up with the current "best guess" location. The locations are then aggregated by latitude and longitude. The end result is: as the geographic database is updated/modified, the underlying numbers are subject to change.
On a sad note, I've been dethroned (at least temporarily). I'm now #2. I'm going to get some top 5 and other statistics coming soon...
